OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Sprint (NYSE: S) announced the opening of a Johannesburg, South Africa Point of Presence (PoP), further adding to Sprint’s extensive global Wireline backbone network.  Sprint’s existing relationship with CMC Networks, a Pan Africa provider, has been extended to incorporate the operation of the Johannesburg PoP to enhance Sprint’s global Tier 1 network, which serves multinational business and carrier customers in 195 countries around the world.
